Lumigan (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution)
is a synthetic prostamide analog with ocular hypotensive activity that
works by regulating the flow of fluid within the eye to maintain a
normal pressure used to treat certain types of glaucoma and other causes
of high pressure inside the eye.
"Latisse® use may cause darkening of the eyelid skin which may be reversible. Latisse® use may also cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye which is likely to be permanent. ... Let's hope they halted the habit before it began to change their actual eyes, too.Latisse is the same formula as Lumigan, Allergan's eyedrops for glaucoma, which reduces eye pressure but also happens to grow lashes. Both are also known as bimatoprost ophthalmic solution.
