How to Use Careprost/ Bimataprost Opthamalic Solution

Recommended for effective results is ONE application to the skin of each upper eyelid margin on a nightly basis. Follow these steps for best results.

1.      Ensure your face is clean, especially areas around the eyes and eyelid. Makeup and contact lenses should be removed. If you use eyedrops for dryness, do so PRIOR to the application of Careprost and let dry, not afterwards.

2.      Place one drop of Careprost into the base the bottle cap as shown above.

3.      Using a clean eyeliner brush, dip into the cap, and then immediately draw the applicator carefully across the skin of the upper eyelid margin going from the inner part of your lash line to the outer part.

4. Blot-dry any excess solution beyond the eyelid margin with tissue paper.

5. Repeat for second eyelid margin. In most instances, one drop is more than sufficient for the margins of both eyes. Repeat if you feel as if you missed any areas. Extra solution can also be applied to the brows. Discard any extra solution and rinse the cap.

6. Thoroughly rinse the eyeliner brush and allow to air dry.

7. Contact lenses may be reinserted 15 minutes after the application process.

FAQs

HOW LONG BEFORE RESULTS?

The majority of users will see results in 10 weeks. However, there is also a small percentage of those who will have fullness and increased length in as little as 6 to 8 weeks. By 16 weeks, your lashes would have grown to its maximum results. After maximum effect, usage can be reduced to every other day.

ARE THERE ANY POTENTIAL RISKS?

There is a risk for eyelid skin darkening which may be reversible with decreased or stopped usage. Also, there is a potential for unexpected hair growth in any area outside of the target treatment area if Careprost "repeatedly" touches that area. This can be prevented by blotting excess solution with a tissue. Itching and redness has been reported, most often in the first few days of use, subsequently subsiding as time goes on.

WHAT IF I STOP USING CAREPROST?

If you stop using Careprost, your eyelashes are expected to return to their previous appearance slowly over time. Any redness or skin darkening should reverse.

WHO SHOULD NOT USE CAREPROST?

Anyone under the age of 18. Those who have an eye infection, eye disease, or eye surgery recently, should NOT USE Careprost. Also, IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE use if you experience a sudden decrease in visual acuity or irritation that does not subside.
