Many
people admit that the beauty of a woman should be seen in her eyes as they are
the doorway to the woman’s heart, and it is the place where the love sojourns(stay somewhere
temporarily).
Our
eyes do so much of the work; thus, we should always take care of the health of
our eyes. Tired, reddened or itchy eyes may spoil your overall look and slowly
your vision may also deplete. Here are a few tips that can help you to take
care of the health of your eyes and avoid them looking tired or ugly.
Beautiful
eyes are the most attractive feature of a face, and they act as the windows to
the soul by expressing the inner feeling, when a person smiles, laughs and
cries, etc. Our eyes are the best way to showcase the emotions or thoughts when
we fall short of the correct words to express them.
- Tea bags:
These
are excellent for the eyes as the tea bags soothes and relaxes the eye muscles.
Use black tea bags only, not the herbal tea bags. Apply cooled down the tea
bags on your closed eyes. Let it rest there for a few minutes.
- Cucumber:
It
is known to do wonders for the tired eyes. Cucumber has cooling effects. You
can place two cucumber slices on each of your closed eyes and let the eyes rest
for a while. It not only cools the eyes, but it is also known to lighten
the dark circles.
You
can also use cucumber in the form of juice. To make the juice you need to grate
the whole cucumber and then squeeze the juice out using a muslin cloth.
Dip
2 cotton pads in the juice and place them on the closed eyes. Keep them there
for a few minutes, till you relax. Then remove the pads.
- Tomato pulp/ juice: tomato juice is also good for the eyes. Tomatoes are rich carotene. If your eyes have dark circles, then you need to use this tip as soon as possible. The fruit is known lighten the dark circles and make your eyes more energetic also.
You
can also make an alternative paste, by mixing one teaspoon tomato pulp with a
pinch of turmeric, half teaspoon lime juice, a little bit of gram flour. Apply
this paste on your eyelids and darkened areas around eyes. Leave for some time
and wash off after half an hour.
- Almond oil and lime juice:
Every
night before going to bed, make it a ritual to apply a paste made up of almond
oil and lime juice near the eyes or in the areas that are dark.
- Almond oil and honey:
It
is an excellent combination to correct the sunken eyes. To make the mixture mix
a teaspoon of honey with a half spoon of almond oil. It is best done before the
bed time. You need to keep the mixture on your closed eyes for the overnight
and then wash off gently in the morning. Sunken and darkened eyes areas are
treated safely with this tip.
